Time clock system anno 2022

With our time clock system, the Rex-O-Matic NOA, employees can easily clock in and out. By scanning a personal ID card, such as an OV-chip card or bank card, employees can register their working hours. Private, but not privacy sensitive.

Rapid clocking

Employees can quickly clock in and out with the Rex-O-Matic NOA. By scanning a personal card such as an debitcard or tag, starting- and end times are registered immediately. The hours can be approved or adjusted with a few button clicks.

Fully integrated time clock

The Rex-O-Matic NOA is fully integrated with Dyflexis. This makes it easy to compare the registered times with the planned hours on the work schedules. Dyflexis shows when employees have worked shorter or longer than planned. In addition, the time clock can automatically round off start and end times based on the schedule.

Attendance registration

The time clock can also be used for attendance registration. The start and end times are immediately shown in Dyflexis. This allows administrators to always see which employees are present. This can be very useful in case of emergencies.

FAQs

A time clock system, also known as a time clock, punch clock or clock system, is a device that allows employees to quickly register their start and end times. A time clock system can be purchased separately and used only for this purpose. However, you can also choose to integrate a time clock system with personnel planning software. The advantage of this is that the time registration and personnel planning process becomes a combined whole that you can manage quickly and efficiently.

On May 14, 2019, the European Court of Justice ruled that all companies operating in Europe must have an 'objective, reliable and accessible' system for employee time registration. Because a time clock system meets all these criteria, it is considered the best solution for companies to comply with the new guidelines.

Most time clock systems work with a card, tag or finger scan. The finger scan has become increasingly popular in recent years. Due to stricter GDRP legislation, the use of finger scans has many drawbacks. A finger scan is considered personal data and therefore very privacy-sensitive information. The latest trend these days is utilizing NFC technology, so that employees can also clock their times by using a bank card or OV chip card. Personal because it concerns a personal ID card, but with the advantage that it doesn’t require privacy sensitive information to be used.

It is possible that employees will experience the presence of a punch clock as a means of control. However, a time clock system ensures that employees themselves also have a better insight into the amount of hours they work. Because begin and end times are accurately recorded, staff can easily consult the information. By communicating this clearly to employees, employers can remove concerns about the time clock system being regarded as a means of control.

This varies per time clock. Some time clock systems require you to complete an installation process before the time clock can be used. However, there are also time clocks that are ready as soon as you plug the power cord into a wall and establish contact with the internet.
